Admission Requirements.
Your application is considered after uploading the following supporting documents. If the application is incomplete, it may be declined by the University:
For Undergraduates:
- Grade 12 results and grade 11 results (final results only) or a copy of your matric certificate – if you have passed matric.
- Applicants who are upgrading their grade 12 results, will be considered after the improved results are presented to NWU.
- Copy of personal ID.
- Applicants who follow Cambridge, GED or any other non-NSC curriculum, or who qualify for exemption due on advanced age or post-school qualifications, have to provide an exemption certificate as issued by USAF.
- Completed undertaking.
- Copy of your academic record (if applicable).
Additional documents for international prospective students:
- A copy of relevant results.
- A copy of your passport.
For post-graduates:
- Completed undertaking.
- Copy of personal ID.
- Copy of academic record (if applicable).

How To Apply for NWU online application 2023
This article provides you with the step by step procedure to apply to NWU. You should already have a course of interest before applying.
- Firstly, you begin your application by applying for a student number.
- Select “New application“.
- Select “Create New student Number”.
- Click to begin your application at the online application platform (make use of the Mozilla Firefox browser)
- You can begin the second step if you already have a student number.
- Use your received student number, together with the PIN number you create to log in.
- Fill all required fields.
- Use school yearbooks to obtain information about the qualifications, modes of delivery and curricula.
- Upload the supporting documents, provided above.
- Click the “Submit application” button when you finished, ensuring that your application was received.
